November 23, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov held a meeting of the Government in the selector mode. The meeting focused on the implementation of the program “Nurly Zhol”. The President of “Economic Research Institute” JSC Maksat Mukhanov commented on the results of this meeting.
“The meeting was held in an open format, there were marked the achievements, but the main emphasis was placed on the shortcomings in the implementation of anti-crisis plan. The main issue – unused budget funds. In the current economic situation it is particularly important to ensure efficient use of budgetary funds,” stressed the expert.
According to the words of the speaker, measures to stabilize the economic situation in Kazakhstan have been taken in a timely manner.
“When developed countries closed production and cut jobs, on behalf of the Head of State Kazakhstan started to implement a large-scale program “Nurly Zhol”. This anti-crisis plan significantly reduces the impact of external risks on the economy of our country and gives a multiplier effect. More than 100 thousand jobs have been created thanks to the program,” he said.
Following the meeting, Karim Massimov instructed all state bodies and regional akimats to ensure the rigorous and timely fulfillment of the tasks set by the Head of State. The First Deputy Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev and the Deputy Prime Minister Dariga Nazarbayeva were entrusted to monitor their implementation.
