Natalia Georgievna, what work has been done since its inception The National Center for Public Health in the framework of the partnership?
Since the establishment of the National Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Memorandums of Cooperation have been concluded with international and public associations, health care and education organizations. I would like to say that, in the framework of a health partnership, civil society, international organizations, the private sector and interested groups of the population can work together to achieve such improvement in health indicators that none of the organizations can provide separately.
Specifically, with what organizations are the memoranda concluded?
These are the UNICEF United Nations Children's Fund, Nazarbayev University, an autonomous educational organization, Astana Medical University, Karaganda State Medical University, Kazakhstan Higher School of Medical Education, Hospital of the Presidential Administration Medical Center, National Association PrimaryHealthCare, the Union of Simulation Training and Independent Expertise medicine, etc.
In which areas do you intend to cooperate?
We intend to cooperate in such areas as the creation of the National Network “Healthy Cities (Regions) of Kazakhstan”, which allows to position Kazakhstan in the international community, launch a Regional Platform for Capacity Building and Partnership in Central Asia and the Caucasus, develop a long-term strategy for the development of public health services, joint research projects and national studies on the prevalence of risk factors, noncommunicable diseases, competition preparation petitiveness managers meet public health needs and others.
For example, within the framework of the Memorandum with UNICEF, a plan has been drawn up for * improving mother and child nutrition in the sub-region of Central Asia and the South Caucasus *, with Medical Center UDP - for youth health centers, with MUA for nutrition of Kazakhstanis and salt, sugar, trans fats, with KSMU - in the field of research on sensitivity to antibiotics in project medicine, the development of standards, with the KSPH - on the integration of public health services based on the priority development of primary health care, with Prima ryHealthCare - for the Disease Management Program.
Together with the Union of Simulation Training and Independent Expertise in Medicine, a Marathon of Healthy Habits was held, the action "** Today, / WalktheTalk / From words to deeds" at the Global Conference on Primary Health Care , dedicated to o the 40th anniversary of the Alma-Ata Declaration WHO on primary health care **.
What partnership event would you mark as the most important?
One of the most important events is our membership joining the IANPHI, a professional association of national public health institutes, consisting of a network of 110 members from 96 countries. The development of the partnership as a whole allows the National Center to increase the effectiveness of the contribution to public health in the public interest at the national and global levels, in solving problems related to the social determinants of health.
