The economic effect of the digitization of the fuel and energy complex is tentatively estimated at 143 billion tenge.
The Vice-Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bolat Akchulakov told this at a press conference in the Central Communications Service.
“To develop a set of activities of the state program“ Digital Kazakhstan ”in the direction of digitalization of oil and gas and uranium industries, electric power industry, ecology, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted a survey of the subjects of the fuel and energy complex to determine the level of digitalization according to Industry 4.0 methodology (Fraunhofer Institute), which showed that there is a lot of work in the field of digitalization, ”he said.
According to the speaker, this is primarily due to the lack of a systematic approach both to the choice of a solution in production companies, and in general to the approach to initiate and support projects classified as digital.
As a result, as noted by Bolat Akchulakov, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan includes 8 events in the State Program “Digital Kazakhstan”, of which 3 projects are icebreaker projects, and there are 7 projects in the working process that are not included in the program’s perimeter.
“Following the results of successful pilot projects, the Ministry will develop standards for further replication (Intellectual Field, Digital Power Plant). The Ministry also plans to develop the concept of Smart Grid, ”the speaker said.
The overall economic effect, as the Vice-Minister informed, of the digitalization of the fuel and energy complex is tentatively estimated at 143 billion tenge.
In order to attract specialists with high competences in the field of project management, the Ministry built partnership relations with the consortium “Energosifra” and renewed the office of digitalization of the state body.
