Employers issued 3.5 thousand prescriptions and imposed fines for 325 million tenge - Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Kazakhstan representative

More than 30% of the violations revealed as a result of state control are related to safety and labor protection issues. This was announced at a briefing in the Central Communications Service by the Chairman of the Labor, Social Protection and Migration Committee of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerbol Nurgaliyev.

“In 2021, state labor inspectors identified 3,547 facts of violations of safety and labor protection. The reason for the violations is the failure to provide safe working conditions, the failure to provide personal and collective protective equipment and special clothing and footwear. Shortcomings, such as the lack of training in safety rules were identified. Based on the results of inspections, employers were issued 3.5 thousand prescriptions and imposed fines in the amount of about 325 million tenge,” the speaker said.
