The introduction of an electronic information system will allow farmers to eliminate possible corruption components in the distribution of diesel fuel volumes

Taking into account the current norms of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, state bodies do not interfere in the process of distributing diesel fuel or in the election of operators. This was announced to the CCS by the Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Asset Magauov.

“In order to create conditions for the conclusion of “direct” contracts for the purchase of diesel fuel between farmers and resource holders (suppliers at the plant) or to have farmers the opportunity to independently cooperate and choose an operator for the supply of petroleum products for field work, the Ministry of Agriculture needs to work out the issue of targeted allocation of diesel fuel volumes in the address of agricultural producers by creating a database of agricultural producers in the territorial context, indicating contact details, the total area of sown land, the need for fuel and lubricants; implementation of an electronic information system for fuel distribution. In our opinion, the targeted allocation of diesel fuel volumes to farmers with the introduction of an electronic information system will create transparency in distribution, eliminate unnecessary links in the distribution chain, and also eliminate possible corruption components,” the speaker explained.
