Chairman of the Geology Committee of the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Talgat Satiev, reported on the state and development of the geological industry in the country at the site of the Central Communications Service. The committee's mission is to increase the geological knowledge of the territory of Kazakhstan in order to replenish the mineral resource base for the active development of all industries of the country.
“In the course of executing the instructions of the Head of State, the following main tasks were set for the geological industry: conducting a state geological study of the subsoil in order to increase geological knowledge and assess predictive mineral resources; monitoring of the mineral resource base, as well as monitoring of groundwater and dangerous geological processes,” said the chairman of the committee.
