Mineral reserves are accounted for by 103 components

To date, the state balance of minerals of the Republic of Kazakhstan takes into account 8711 deposits, including hydrocarbons - 317, solid minerals - 910, common minerals - 3160 and 4324 groundwater deposits. The balance reserves of oil are 4.4 billion tons, gas - 2.1 trillion m3, condensate - 416.2 million tons. At the same time, the vast majority of them are concentrated in the Atyrau region - about 75% and the Mangistau region - 11%. 68% of hydrocarbon reserves are accounted for by 3 large fields: Tengiz, Kashagan and Karachaganak. such data was announced at the site of the Central Communications Service by the Chairman of the Committee of Geology of the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Talgat Satiev.

In general, accounting for mineral reserves is carried out according to 103 components.
