During the meeting, the Kazakh diplomat handed over to the head of the international organization an invitation signed by the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi to the VI CICA Summit, which is scheduled for October 12-13, 2022 in Nur-Sultan.
Lim Jok Hoi warmly thanked the Government of Kazakhstan for the invitation to the Summit, noting the importance of efforts to build a dialogue to maintain peace, cooperation and development in the Asian continent.
ASEAN is a regional intergovernmental organization whose goals and objectives are in line with the mission of CICA. Of the 10 member states of the Association, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand are CICA members, while Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia and the Philippines are observers.
