Central Referendum Commission accredits first international observers

On May 18, 2022, the Central Referendum Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan adopted a resolution “On accreditation of observers of international organizations and foreign states to the republican referendum scheduled for June 5, 2022”.

On the recommendation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 39 observers from 3 international organizations and 5 foreign states were presented for accreditation. Of these: 6 observers are accredited as part of the Mission of Observers from the CIS; 5 observers - Observer missions from the Organization of Turkic States; 17 observers from the IPA CIS, as well as 11 observers from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Moldova.

As the submissions for accreditation come in, the data on observers will be updated.

The Institute of International Observation was opened by the Central Referendum Commission on May 6, 2022. Accreditation of observers of international organizations and foreign states will last until 18:00 on May 30, 2022.
