It is planned to launch the next culture season of the French Embassy in Kazakhstan “Digital Autumn 2018”.
This was during a press conference at the CCS, with the participation of the Vice-Minister of Information and Communications Nurgul Mauberlinova and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France Mr. Philippe Martiné.
The briefing was held on the occasion of the launch of the next cultural season of the French Embassy in Kazakhstan “Digital Autumn 2018”, which will last from October 19 to December 12, 2018.
“France intends to play its role in Kazakhstan as the first cultural power in the world. It offers only the best that it has, listening to its strategic partner - Kazakhstan, and cooperating in the field of its political priorities. France is a symbol of innovation and modernity, as well as countries with renewed horizons, ”said Philip Martine.
As the ambassador informed, this year the main theme of the cultural season is strongly oriented towards innovation, an entrepreneurial approach and the future.
“Autumn is dematerializing, virtualizing the cultural projects of the Embassy of France and its partners in symbiosis with the political vision of advanced digitalization in Kazakhstan. New technologies will become even more accessible to all, thanks to a diverse program that will be held in the cities of Almaty and Astana, ”the speaker said.
Recall that in total during the "Digital Autumn" will be about ten events on a digital theme. The French artists involved in this program will collaborate with Kazakhstani students and artists in creative workshops and meetings at specialized schools for the arts and digital technologies.
The season will be held with the support of TOTAL, TS Development, Astana Group, SANOFI, Dostyk Plaza, as well as the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the program Ruhani zagyru, the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute.
The main organizers of the season “Digital Autumn 2018” are the Embassy of France in Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Information and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Almaty and the Kazakhstani French Alliances.
