Thanks to the digitalization of the energy industry in Kazakhstan, it became possible to purchase fuel at gas stations without contacting the cashier through a mobile application with an online payment service.
“The introduction of the Contactless Gas Station service allows: minimizing queues at the checkout, increasing convenience and comfort for the client, and in the future it is planned to introduce the possibility of acquiring consumer goods without leaving the car,” said Deputy Energy Minister Bolat Akchulakov.
According to him, the economic effect of the project until 2022 is estimated at 723 million tenge. In July of this year, the project “Contactless gas station” was implemented at all KazMunaygas gas stations.
