President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan intends to personally monitor the work of the Astana Hub, ortcom.kz reports with reference to the Kazinform MIA. The Head of State said this at the official opening ceremony of the international technopark of IT start-ups Astana Hub.
“What I heard today is very inspiring to me, I will follow this work. Last year, we identified 100 new faces, among them I already see those who have fulfilled their dream. This year, we will also identify 100 or 200 new faces of Kazakhstan, which have achieved great success, ”said Nursultan Nazarbayev. At the same time, the Head of State addressed the young generation of Kazakhstanis. “You are all young, half of the population of Kazakhstan, these are young people who have not reached 30 years old, our future is in your hands. In the age of competition, in order for our country, while maintaining independence, to enter the top 30 most developed countries of the world, you must work well. Only through work can we achieve these goals, only through knowledge. Therefore, we will pay great attention to the field of education and science from year to year, and we will not spare money for it, ”stressed Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Recall, the Head of State today officially launched the work of the international technology park of IT start-ups Astana Hub.
Astana Hub was created on the instructions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of the EXPO-2017 exhibition platform, in order to develop start-up culture and support high-tech projects to strengthen the country's economy.
Technopark should be the core and the engine of the development of the innovation ecosystem of Kazakhstan and an internationally recognized hub for the development of the technology business. According to plans, 67 billion tenge should be invested in resident start-ups (graduates of Astana Hub programs) by 2022.
