“Kostanay region produces 22% of the total grain in the country. Therefore, within the framework of the implementation of the state program “Digital Kazakhstan”, the region is defined as a “Pilot Project” for the digitization of agriculture, ”Kostanay oblast akim A.Mukhambetov said at a press conference in the Central Communications Service today.
Archimedes Mukhambetov focused journalists on the introduction of smart dairy and meat farms, precision farming systems.
The project “Smart Meat Farm” is implemented on the basis of one of the large and technologically prepared farms of Terra LLP, which is the operator of the project “Meat Cluster of Kostanay Region”. The total livestock is about 9 thousand heads of cattle. At the moment, such elements of digitalization as RFID (Erefaydi) tagging, feed control system, culling of inefficient animals, unmanned aerial vehicle have been introduced in the farm. The economic effect is to increase 122 tons of meat per year and save 10% on feed.
The project “Smart Dairy Farm” is being implemented on the basis of the cattle-breeding complex of “Olzha Sadchikovskoye” LLP for 770 head of dairy cattle. In April of this year, the Austrian automated system Smaxtec was introduced, which allows you to track the physiological state and the pH of the cattle, the timely insemination of the breeding stock and its productivity. The effect of these activities will be in increasing milk production from one fodder cow from 6 to 7 tons for the year and an increase in the output of calves from 100 queens from 70 to 90 heads.
The project "Implementation of the precision farming system" is being implemented in two "pilot" enterprises (Sadchikovskoe LLP and Troyana LLP). A cartogram of experimental fields was created, on which, when sowing, fertilizers were differentially introduced and seeds were sown. The technical park for the introduction of parallel driving technology has been upgraded, sensors for fuel metering and moving equipment have been installed. Refurbished harvesting equipment with the introduction of an online system for monitoring yield, humidity, grain threshing.
Additionally, technologies for animal chipping and creation of electronic epizootic maps are being introduced in the region.
