“No one doubts that the Kazakh language is the state language. Today, no one prevents us from speaking our native language. All government meetings are held in the Kazakh language. Therefore, its further development is the duty of every Kazakh. Now about 70% of the population of Kazakhstan speak the state language. However, we must develop it further. Especially at the level of schools, colleges, universities. In the schools themselves, about 70% of classes are held in the Kazakh language. This is one of the big projects. Currently, it has been transferred from the Ministry of Culture and Sports to the education sector. Therefore, by improving the specific methodology of the language, we were able to “reach out” to every Kazakh child, created the opportunity to speak the state language for representatives of other nationalities living in Kazakhstan. But its implementation lies with all of us,” Tugzhanov said.
