During the meeting with investors, Kanat Bozumbayev emphasized that the construction industry is developing dynamically in the country.

- Today, the construction sector can be called one of the main drivers of the economy. Including in our region, there is a dynamic development of this direction, which positively affects the improvement of the social situation of the population. In general, investment activity is growing, including the production of building materials. To this end, today we are meeting with two investors at once, who plan to build new factories for the production of building materials in the Ili district and the city of Taldykorgan, - said K. Bozumbayev.

According to the agreements, the long-term projects of the TK gas block company, one of the founders of which is JSC Samruk-Kazyna Construction, are planned to be implemented within 7 years. Production of gas blocks with a capacity of 60 thousand cubic meters per year, fiber cement panels with a capacity of 2 million square meters per year, glass wool with a capacity of 6 thousand tons per year is planned to be placed on the territory of the Ili district. Production of gas blocks with a capacity of 60 thousand cubic meters. m per year will appear on the territory of the industrial zone "Taldykorgan".  LLP Almplast plans to implement its project there. The plant will produce plastic pipes with a diameter of 20-1200 mm. The project implementation period is 2022-2023. It is expected that with a design capacity of 16.8 thousand tons per year, 37 new jobs will be created, 2.6 billion tenge of investments will be attracted.

The signing of the memorandums confirmed the intention of fruitful cooperation. They were signed by the oblast akim Kanat Bozumbayev, the director of LLP Almplast Sabyrkhan Kasymov, the director of TK gas-block Maxim Kim.

Concluding the meeting, Kanat Bozumbayev noted that the successful implementation of projects would have a multiplier effect on the region's economy, as well as increase the coverage of the market with locally produced building materials, which, in turn, would help reduce import dependence.
