Applications are accepted until October 14, 2022 through the public services portal Egov.kz.
Acceptance of documents for the internship will begin on September 5 and will last until October 14, 2022.
The competitive selection will be held from May 30 to November 30, 2022.
This year, 385 scholarships have been allocated for master's and residency studies, and 60 scholarships for doctoral programs.
“At the instruction of the Head of State, the process of reorienting the Bolashak program has been launched. The main emphasis is on the training of engineering and technical personnel. In this regard, the number of grants for technical and IT specialties under the Bolashak program has been increased to 60%. These are such specialties as “Engineering systems and networks”, “Aviation and aerospace engineering. Air Traffic Control”, “Big Data Analytics”, “Technology of New Materials”, “Database Management”, “Aviation Equipment and Technologies”, “Engineering”, “Industrial Automation” and others,” said the Chairman of the Board of the Center for International Programs of the Ministry of Education and Science of the RoK Anuar Zhangozin.
In total, this year, the list of priority specialties under the Bolashak program provides for 92 specialties for academic study and 158 for internships. Based on the analysis of labor market trends this year, the List includes 40 new specialties in the field of innovation, new technologies, medicine, industrial engineering and natural sciences. At the same time, 17 of them are included in the already existing specialties by expanding their names. In general, the list of priority specialties has been expanded by 30% with technical specialties.
It should be noted, that the competitive selection for the award of the Bolashak International Scholarship takes place in 3 rounds: comprehensive testing, a personal interview with members of the Independent Expert Commission and consideration of documents at a meeting of the Republican Commission for Training Personnel Abroad.
