The Head of the Ministry of National Economy spoke in detail about the priority areas of socio-economic development in the framework of the reforms announced by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Today, the Ministry is carrying out large-scale work to build a new economic policy, increase the income of the population, diversify the economy, improve the investment climate and develop entrepreneurship.
“The government of Kazakhstan is taking timely measures on all important issues. There is an operational headquarters for anti-crisis measures, where the business community is also involved. Measures are being taken to diversify the economy and export flows. Work is underway to demonopolize the economy,” A. Kuantirov noted.
Last year, Kazakhstan's economy grew by 4.1%. In January-April of the current year, there is an acceleration of economic growth to 4.4%.
“The Government has all the necessary tools and resources to mitigate the negative impact of external shocks. Kazakhstan is always open to foreign investors. Favorable conditions have been created for them,” the minister stressed.
In turn, representatives of international rating agencies highly appreciated the measures taken in Kazakhstan to develop the economy.
