During the conversation, the parties "synchronized their watches" on the issues of Kazakh-Chinese cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, and also held an in-depth exchange of views on the prospects for its further development.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan informed the interlocutor about the political and economic transformations taking place in Kazakhstan, as well as about the preparations for the upcoming referendum on amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Kazakh diplomat also placed special emphasis on joint efforts to build up trade and economic ties, issues of strengthening interaction and close cooperation at the checkpoints of the Kazakh-Chinese border, resuming passenger air traffic and simplifying the visa regime of the PRC for Kazakhstanis.

For his part, Le Yucheng congratulated Sh. Nuryshev on his appointment as head of the Kazakh diplomatic mission in China and expressed the full readiness of the Chinese Foreign Ministry for close cooperation with the newly appointed Ambassador.

In addition, the Deputy Foreign Minister of China praised the course for political and economic transformations in the Republic of Kazakhstan, outlined by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, stressing that China fully supports the measures taken by the leadership of our country.

Along with this, the diplomats discussed plans for organizing bilateral visits and events at high and highest levels this year.

At the end of the meeting, the interlocutors agreed to maintain regular contacts on current and topical issues of bilateral cooperation.
