The Kazakh delegation was headed by Assistant to the President - Secretary of the Security Council Gizat Nurdauletov, who in his speech outlined the key areas for changing the situation in the country in the interests of the entire region. In particular, preventing the export of threats of international terrorism and extremism, countering the drug business, ensuring food security and overcoming the humanitarian crisis.

The need to improve transport connectivity throughout the region was noted as a key factor in economic security, as well as the development of the education system for the socio-economic recovery of Afghanistan.

Kazakhstan continues to provide humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people by supplying food, medicines and other essential goods, as well as providing educational opportunities for Afghan students.

The importance of coordinated efforts across the entire spectrum of the Afghan problem was emphasized.

As a result of the meeting, a final statement was adopted, which noted the inadmissibility of the use of the territory of Afghanistan by international terrorist organizations for shelter, training, planning or financing of any terrorist acts against the countries of the region.

The participants in the dialogue confirmed their intention to establish cooperation on the rapid exchange of information between the border states and other interested countries on the situation related to the activities of destructive forces.

In addition, the desire of states to ensure unimpeded access to humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people was underlined.

On the sidelines of the event, Gizat Nurdauletov held bilateral meetings with Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Tajikistan Nasrulla Mahmudzoda and Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic Marat Imankulov.

An exchange of views took place on key issues of regional and global security, including the main areas of cooperation in this area.
