Ludmila Byurabekova, the chairman of the pharmacy committee of the Ministry of Health of RK, told about this during a briefing in the Central Communications Service.

These are medicines for outpatient drug supply for patients with cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, oncology, HIV and others. 106 names of medicines that do not have registered analogues in the Republic of Kazakhstan will be purchased directly from foreign manufacturers. Medical organizations have submitted preliminary applications for these drugs totaling about 43 billion tenge. Through international organizations UNICEF and UNDP in 2019, it is planned to purchase 25 names of medicines in the amount of 8.7 billion tenge.

“To date, almost all medicines have been purchased. Not purchased for the current time remain, mainly medical products, "- said Lyudmila Byurabekova.

According to the results of the purchase already at the moment, budget savings amounted to more than 16 billion tenge. In 2018, funds released through savings were used to cover the identified deficit in drugs.
