Imperia Food, Lunyuan Zhetysu, Kaiyndy, Inalca and Bauman meat-packing plants are launched in the region, ortcom.kz reports.
“In the Almaty region in livestock numbers, livestock and production of its products increased by an average of 3.7%. 92 feedlots are functioning, beef production has increased by 7%, 1,000 tons of meat have been exported, ”said Almaty oblast akim Amandyk Batalov in the Central Communications Service.
According to the head of the region, 5 meat-processing plants are under construction in the region with a total capacity of 91 thousand tons. These are “Empire Food” by 8 thousand tons, “Lunyuan Zhetysu” and “Kaiynda” by 16 thousand tons, “Inalca” by 21 thousand and “Bauman” by 30 thousand tons.
Amandyk Batalov also noted that for the development of dairy farming this year 7 family dairy farms were established. In total there are 68 farms, which produce 20% of milk in the region.
"By 2021, due to the creation of family-based ITF, it is planned to ensure a full load of milk plants with high-quality milk," the mayor shared his plans.
