So, at the beginning of 2017, there were 49 three-shift schools in the region, 33 schools were built under the Nurly Zhol program, ”said Almaty oblast akim Amandyk Batalov in the Central Communications Service.
As Amandyk Batalov noted, given the high birth rate - 50 thousand children and internal migration, the enrollment of students grows by about 20 thousand annually (2016 - 22 thousand, 2017 - 19.6 thousand, 2018 - 17 , 3 thousand).
“Therefore, last year 13 new three-shift schools appeared in the region, this year 11 and now there are 34. Of these, 8 schools are being built with commissioning in 2019, the rest will be built in stages due to the additional 50 billion tenge announced by the Head of the state in the Message, ”the akim explained.
