“In the health sector of the Almaty region, the focus is on increasing the availability of primary health care, especially in rural areas. This question is relevant, since 80% of the population lives in rural areas, ”said Almaty oblast akim Amandyk Batalov in the Central Communications Service.


According to the head of the region, 18 and overhaul of 5 medical facilities totaling 5.5 billion tenge are under construction in the region. The introduction of a medical information system is being completed, 1 million 450 thousand electronic health passports have been registered, the population coverage is 83%.


“Since this year, the Komek 103 system has been launched, which reduced the time of arrival of ambulance in the countryside to 15 minutes, and in the cities to 7 minutes,” the speaker informed.
