“In the health sector of the Almaty region, the focus is on increasing the availability of primary health care, especially in rural areas. This question is relevant, since 80% of the population lives in rural areas, ”said Almaty oblast akim Amandyk Batalov in the Central Communications Service.
According to the head of the region, 18 and overhaul of 5 medical facilities totaling 5.5 billion tenge are under construction in the region. “Since this year, the Komek 103 system has been launched, which reduced the time of arrival of ambulance in the countryside to 15 minutes, and in the cities to 7 minutes,” the speaker informed.
