As part of the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship program, 250 students will be able to study annually in Hungary, reports ortcom.kz.

“One of the key events of this year was again an increase in the number of grants for Kazakhstan students from 200 to 250 in the framework of the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship program,” said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Kazakhstan Dr. Andras Barani at the Central Communications Service at the final press conference according to the results of the Hungarian-Kazakh bilateral relations in 2018.

As Andras Barani notes, the program Stipendium Hungaricum operates on the basis of an intergovernmental agreement between Hungary and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The program site has already published the conditions for applicants for the next academic year.

“Students wishing to study in Hungary must submit applications before January 15, 2019,” said Mr. Ambassador.

Andras Barani also reported that Hungarian students study in Kazakhstan. Their interest in the study of Kazakh history and culture is due to common ethnic roots, so they choose economic, historical and musical specialties.
