Deputy Akim Yermek Amanshayev spoke about the development of the business climate in Astana during a meeting of the Republican information group with the public to clarify the Address of the Head of State, ortcom.kz reports citing the official website of the capital akimat.

The meeting was held in the format of a dialogue, each participant could ask questions to the speakers directly or make their own proposals.

“In his Address, the Head of State placed great emphasis on improving the business climate, especially at the regional level, which undoubtedly is a good help for the development of entrepreneurship. In general, since the beginning of the year, the number of operating SMEs increased by 8.9%, to 105.8 thousand units. Tax revenues to the budget from SMEs amounted to about 297.2 billion tenge, or 45% of the total tax revenues and payments, ”said Amanshayev.

Recall Astana was the first of the country's regions to become the winner of the subnational rating for ease of doing business, received a special award from the Head of State and fulfilled the task of the Head of State to ensure a 50% share of SME in GRP until 2050.
