To date, the number of systematically engaged in physical culture and sports in Pavlodar region is 30.2% of the total population. Last year alone, 115 sports facilities of various forms of ownership were put into operation. “In order to ensure accessibility to sports facilities and to attract the population to physical culture and sports, an electronic calendar was created, where the schedule of training and training classes in various sports in all sports halls is filled in - these are general education and sports schools and clubs, also sports halls of colleges and higher educational institutions, ”said M. Aidashev.
According to him, anyone can use the electronic calendar service, on the official website of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Pavlodar region there is a link to access information.
Along with this, he added that a lot of work is being done to strengthen the material and technical base of the sports infrastructure. Last year alone, 115 sports facilities of various forms of ownership were put into operation.
“This year a sports and fitness complex was put into operation in the Kyzylzhar village of the Aksu rural zone. By the end of this year, it is planned to introduce a sports and recreation complex in the rural area of Pavlodar. Also, work continues on the construction of 2 fitness centers in the Zhelezinsky district and the village of Pavlodar. Completion of sports facilities is scheduled for 2019, ”M. Aidashev informed.
It is worth noting that the construction of the Ice Routing Arena, which is planned to be completed next year, is also being carried out at the expense of sponsorship.
In order to develop football in the region, construction began last year and commissioned 5 full-size football fields.
This year, 2 full-size football fields were commissioned, including in the city of Pavlodar on the territory of school No. 22 and in the Auly region on the territory of the secondary school. By the end of the year, another 6 full-size football fields will be put into operation, including 4 in the city of Pavlodar, one each in the Zhelezinskiy and Irtyshsky districts.
“Next year it is planned to build 5 more fields, thus, in each district there will be an opportunity to hold football competitions on full-size football fields with artificial turf,” M. Aidashev assured.
