On the trends of modern media, the use of storytelling in the media, at the seminar on communication management at Astana Media Week 2018, well-known media coach Orken Kenzhebek spoke.
“Storytelling is a trend of modern media. At the dawn of my professional career, I received an excellent lesson from a Taraz journalist Orazkhan Daut. In one publication, he was able to link the film “Zita and Gita” with SPFIID. In the publication, where the story about the cinematic mechanics who came to the remote villages with a movie-shop and who were simultaneously scrolling different parts of the 2 serial films of the neighboring auls, did not care that someone would start watching from the second part at once and as a result received time savings, occupied 70 percent of the text! The remaining part was devoted to how the program of the SPAIID is executed in the region: two cement plants are being built in parallel, but there is no bitumen plant that is needed for the construction of roads. The conclusion of the article was that there is nothing that is needed - they are not building, but they are building what is not needed! ”Said Orken Kenzhebek.
During the training seminar, representatives of regional media gained the skill of creating storytelling.
