The content market at Astana Media Week has collected 15 TV channels and more than 50 production studios.

The content market presented an effective platform for dialogue between customers of media content, large television and radio companies and representatives of the private production market: production studios, creative teams, production centers, author projects in the field of information, media entertainment, music and cinema .

It opened on Wednesday, September 26 at the Kazmedia Center within the media week of Astana Media Week. The exhibition is attended by 15 television companies, more than 50 production studios and other industry players. Participants share their projects and discuss current issues in the media industry in Kazakhstan.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of Astana Media Week, the Minister of Information and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dauran Abayev noted the importance of media for modern society in Kazakhstan.

“Your ideas every day change not only the information landscape, but also give impetus to processes in various sectors - from politics to finance, from agriculture to sports. Against this background, the importance of a broad discussion of pressing problems, the development of specific solutions and mechanisms for further work increases significantly. For this purpose, Astana Media Week gathers not only journalists and representatives of state bodies, but also PR communities, as well as foreign specialists, ”D. Abaev stressed.

The Minister noted that last year at Astana Media Week, national television channels opened many new and interesting projects and expressed the hope that AMW would become a traditional event for the professional community.

On this day, professional and open pitching sessions took place, where professionals presented projects of television, Internet and other media products waiting to be implemented. Participants discussed important industry issues at the MediaTalks Professions of the Future informal conference.

Astana Media Week will run until September 28. More than 2000 guests, 60 top managers of the media industry in Kazakhstan and abroad, 15 republican TV channels and more than 50 production companies take part in the media weeks. During the event, master classes and panel discussions were held on the most topical issues of modern media market development, the Regional Media Forum and the Astana Digital Forum with the participation of foreign experts.
