"Kazakh Tourism" will become the management company for TOP-10 facilities and the main partner for investors. This was stated by Vice-Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan Yerlan Kozhagapanov, reports ortcom.kz
"An important role in the growth of tourism indicators was played by the Government’s decision to create a Kazakh Tourism company based on the best international experience. First, to promote the Kazakhstan tourist destination on the domestic and global markets; second, to attract investment in the industry through direct work with business and investors in the area where the state body, by virtue of its regulations, cannot work flexibly. The international experience of the tourist powers - the UAE, Spain, Mexico, Malaysia, Morocco, Canada, Australia, Singapore and Korea has proven high efficiency such a model, "said Yerlan Kozhagapanov.
He added that a project of a country tourist brand will be developed. He will be presented in the near future together with the Strategy for its promotion. For the first time in the history of Kazakhstan, the national tourist portal “Kazakhstan.travel” will be launched, designed to become a single information gateway for tourists on Kazakhstan's tourist offer.
Erlan Kozhagapanov also added that, as part of the work on domestic tourism, the projects of “Kazakh Tourism” on 20 natural sites and climbing 20 mountain peaks of Kazakhstan became successful.
