From 26 to 28 September, Astana will host the second Kazakh media week, Astana Media Week, in “Kazmedia Ortalygy”.
The media week is held in order to fulfill the main priorities of the spiritual modernization of Kazakhstan, initiated by the Head of State N. A. Nazarbayev.
The event aims to create a regional media hub on the basis of Kazmedia Center.
The first day of “Astana Media Week” will be devoted to building an effective dialogue platform between customers of media content, large television and radio companies, as well as representatives of the private production market: production studios, creative teams, production centers, author projects in the field of information, media - entertainment, music and movies.
“In addition to the possibility of meeting tete-a-tete with the first leaders of Kazakhstan’s media and discussing with them the prospects for media production, the dialogue and negotiation platforms created during this day will expand opportunities for business contacts, productive communication in different formats, the acquisition of new skills a number of workshops and participation in panel discussions on the most topical issues of modern development of the media market, ”the official website of the event says.
Within the second day of Astana Media Week 2018, the Ministry of Information and Communication of the Republic of Kazakhstan is holding a Forum of regional media in Kazakhstan.
“The event is intended to discuss the most pressing issues of the print media development of national media, difficulties and opportunities during the transition to new convergent forms,” the organizers say.
On the third day of the media week, the Astana Digital Forum will be held, which will be devoted to presentations by international speakers on a wide range of issues: finding niches in the digital economy, online advertising, and other pressing issues.
Meanwhile, according to the organizers, in the second half of the day Salem Social Media together with weiners and internet marketers will discuss projects and mechanisms for their promotion.
