There was a presentation of documentaries about the life and lifestyle of Kazakhs who immigrated to other countries.
A press conference was held at the Central Communications Service at which they presented the cycle of documentaries Köspendiler, commissioned by the Kazakhstan TV and Radio Corporation.
The event was attended by Chairman of the Board of RTRK Kazakhstan JSC Yerlan Karin, President of the Bilim Innovation International Public Foundation Darkhan Ote Yermakhanuly, well-known Burkitchi girl from Mongolia Aisholpan Nurgayypkyzy and her mother Almagul Koksegen.
“The Köshpendiller documentary film cycle consists of 12 parts. The project will tell about the life and life of the Kazakhs who immigrated at that time to other countries. This project was implemented by the famous Kazakhstan director Kanat Beisekeev. Documentary films were filmed in Mongolia, Afghanistan, China, Turkey, Iran and other countries. This project is very important for all of us. The screening of the documentary film series “Köshpendiller” will begin from October 14 on the air of the TV channel Qazaqstan and will last until December 23 of this year. The heroine of the first part of our project, Aisholpan Nurgayypkyzy, is now next to us, she came to Kazakhstan for the first time, ”said Yerlan Karin.
It is worth noting that in 2016 about Aisholpan Nurgayypkyzy, director Otto Bell made a documentary film “Berkutchi” (Eagle Huntress), after which the whole world learned about it.
“Shy, but unusually undisturbed, she apparently never doubts herself,” Aisholpan described in the American newspaper Daily News.
According to Darkhan Ote Yermakhanuly, the majority of Kazakhs living in other countries are the fourth generation of immigration in those countries. The heroes of the documentary film tell the story of their life, narrate about traditions and life, which they have saved thanks to their ancestors. The cycle of documentaries will undoubtedly be interesting for our viewers.
