MK "Zhas Otan" with the party "Nur Otan" and the Association "Bolashak" launched the project "English for Jastar", which is aimed at improving the level of the English language and improving communication skills among schoolchildren.
“The project will operate in pilot mode for two months in 14 regions of Kazakhstan. Elbasy noted that in-depth study of the English language is a global trend. Our activity with our project partner the Association "Bolashak" is aimed at educating highly educated, competitive youth. Therefore, we launched the project “English for Jastar” within the framework of the youth political camp “Zhastar-Otanғa!”, Said Daniyar Sundetbaev, chairman of the youth wing of Zhas Otan at the Nur Otan party, in the Central Communications Service.
The project aims to help students improve their English and improve their communication skills.
According to the executive secretary of the MK Zhas Otan at the Nur Otan party Daulet Karibek, the project covers 7,000 students in grades 9-11 in 84 villages. For its implementation involved 28 native speakers and 141 domestic specialists who speak English at an advanced level.
“Classes with foreign volunteers will be held only in extra time and will not interfere with the basic educational process of schoolchildren,” added the Executive Director of the Bolashak Association, Laura Demessinova.
At the same time, she noted that all teachers have higher education, experience in teaching English and skills to work with children, as well as provided certificates of health status and non-involvement in offenses.
The project will be implemented from September 20 to November of this year with the academic support of the Interpress language center. The project partners are the International Organization “AIESEC”, LLP “Center for Educational Leadership” of AOO “Nazarbayev University”, the airline JSC “Qazaq Air”, the language center “InterPress”, LLP “Meloman HOME VIDEO”, KazNU. Al-Farabi; American company for the development of domestic tourism in the Republic of Kazakhstan "4KZTours", language school "LingvaTen".
