In Kazakhstan, the traditional contest “Best Press Service of the Year - 2018” will be held for the press services of state bodies, organizations and national companies. This time it was organized by the Republican state institution “Central Communications Service”, ortcom.kz reports
“We are holding this competition under the auspices of the Ministry of Information and Communication of the Republic of Kazakhstan, according to tradition - within the framework of the annual Kazakhstan media week“ Astana Media Week ”. The objectives of the competition are clear - to fill in the content of a new, fairly significant, legally secured status of press services, to increase the effectiveness of this systemic mechanism of relations between state bodies and business with the public and the media, ”said the director of the CCS, Ruslan Alishev.
According to him, all the press services of the central and local executive bodies, companies of the private sector will participate in the competition. The jury will determine the best in the following nominations:
The best press service of the central government body (ministry, national level agency);
The best business press service (quasi-public sector, small and medium business);
The best press service of local executive bodies;
The press service is the innovator of the year (introduction of new approaches, creativity, etc.);
The best press service of a public organization;
Press Secretary of the year (personal assessment);
The best corporate site.
Ruslan Alishev added that the nomination “The best press service of a public organization” was introduced for the first time - for the participation of the press services of such organizations as the Foundation of the First President, the Nur Otan Party, the CPPK and other parties, various NGOs, the Chernobyl Front, federations also show high efficiency in their work.
The competition will be held in 2 stages. The official ceremony and awarding of the winners will be held on September 28, 2018 in the concert hall "Kazmediya Ortalygy" at the closing ceremony of the Kazakhstan media week "Astana Media Week".
