The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in cooperation with UNICEF, has developed the Foster Nurse mobile application.
“To date, a test version is available on the Google Play Market, the number of downloads of which is more than 200. In the Kyzylorda region, a pilot testing of this mobile application has been conducted. According to the results of the pilot testing in 3 polyclinics of the region, the average score obtained is 7 (out of 10). At the same time, Kazakhstan's IT service providers implemented about 20 mobile applications, ”said the Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Abishev.
He added that on the official Internet resource (www.ezdrav.kz) of the RSE on the REU “Republican Center for Electronic Health” of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a single catalog of existing mobile applications in the field of healthcare was formed.
At the same time, according to the vice-minister, at the regional level there are mobile applications “DamuMed” and “To the doctor”. The number of downloads of mobile applications at the end of August 2018 is about 1.5 million.
