Interior Minister Kalmukhanbet Kasymov, at a press conference in the CCS, commented on the situation regarding the murder of Denis Ten.
“Soon there will be a court in the criminal case of Denis Ten, and I must say that they show, can you imagine? This is prohibited by law. What motives, what it is - all this will be clarified in court. But objectively, I can tell you - these people who lived in Almaty, both visitors, each of them have three criminal convictions. At first they worked at the car wash, and then slowly switched to stealing mirrors. That day they needed money. First, it was necessary to live in, they lived in the same apartment ... also a question. You understand, in fact, people came without documents, without anything, and settled in this apartment. Here, please, what conditions the city creates for such criminals. In the morning they left this apartment, they needed money. And they began to search for the object of the crime. They drove around this car twice. They saw that there was a good, expensive car, that it had mirrors, and there were no inscriptions on them (now many are insured, a number is written out on the mirror, then they will not be sold). Then they stopped for 300 meters, then went to the car. When they committed a crime Denis and went out. Everything! Denis is a fighter, he immediately entered into a fight, caught up and, moreover, firmly held, he (the suspect) could not run away from him. He held him thorough, until the second one came running and stabbed Denis with a knife. Of course, what motives — whether you wanted to kill or not — all this will turn out in court, everything will be reported subjectively and objectively in court. Here you have all the circumstances.

Kalmukhanbet Kasimov touched on the situation in the markets of cities.
“In fact, we have these bazaars commanding what to do. After the incident, we carried out raids in Almaty, in Astana, in Pavlodar, in Karaganda. You saw the results. Here in Astana we arrived at the market, started to look. The owners of the five containers ran away, we could not find them, we do not even know who they are. How can the owner of the market allow such a sale. And what they want is what they do. What licenses can we talk about at all? ”He said.
But, at the same time, the minister complained that they could not prohibit the sale.
“Every day we can’t stand there every day with our precinct and operas ... How many centers are built, why can't we organize order in these bazaars ?! Or trade in cattle ... We say - close all these spontaneous markets. No, they commit theft ... Where there is a sale, there is an offer, there is also a demand. This is a misfortune of Almaty and other cities, ”said the minister.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also said that by the end of September the case of the murder of the figure skater Denis Tena would go to court.
