Through the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the extraterritorial principle of providing some services has been introduced.
“Now citizens, regardless of their place of residence, in any region of the country, through the PSC, can receive a passport, an identity card, a driver's license, or register a car. These and a number of other innovations will allow us to provide public services to the population at a qualitatively new level ”,
- said the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kalmukhanbet Kasymov at a press conference in the CCS.
Together with the Government for Citizens, it provides about 40 types of various state services to the population.
The terms of providing certain types of services have been significantly reduced. To facilitate the access of the population to the services provided, most of them are automated and are provided through PSCs, together with the Government for Citizens, special PSCs, and the Migration Services Centers (cities of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, the period for providing services has decreased from 5 -7 days to several hours).
Today, when providing a service, it is no longer necessary to provide numerous certificates from other government agencies. Employees receive the necessary information from information systems and databases.
