The advantages of innovative technologies in the field of law enforcement are obvious.

“We are improving the work of police and National Guard squads, increasing the speed of their response to incidents, and actively introducing innovative technologies in the field of law enforcement,” said RK Minister of Internal Affairs Kalmukhanbet Kasymov at a press conference on strengthening law and order and security.

The Minister was informed that the Operational Control Centers are in place to manage the integrated police forces, who serve around the clock in the city streets.

“They are available in every regional center, and now they are being built in small cities with difficult criminogenic conditions. Such centers are already operating in Zhanaozen, Rudny, Shchuchinsk, Semey and Khromtau. In 2019, it is planned to create a central processing unit in the city of Kapshagay, Ridder, Temirtau and Stepnogorsk ",

- Kalmuhanbet Kasymov reported.

With the support of local executive bodies, a video surveillance system is being developed on the busy streets of cities, in crowded places. Installed 6 thousand units of equipment.

According to the minister, 15 thousand houses in the city of Astana, Almaty and regional centers are covered by video surveillance. As part of the “Safe Yard” program, the network of video surveillance is being expanded.

In the field of road safety, video-recording systems for traffic violations and “intelligent” traffic control systems are being introduced, and, with the support of akims, police squads are provided with stationary and wearable DVRs.
