“The savings amounted to 5.8 billion tenge - 2010, 26.6 billion tenge - 2018. The amount allocated for outpatient drug provision for 10 years increased from 19.8 billion tenge (2008) to 124.7 billion tenge (2018). At the same time, the number of people provided with medicines increased from 2,766,351 (2013) to 3,173,355 (2017), ”said Health Minister Yelzhan Birtanov.

He noted that in the cost structure of outpatient drug provision in 2018, there are top 15 nosologies.

In order to implement the constitutional right of citizens to health protection, the Code “On the health of the people and the health system” (hereinafter - the Code), which regulates public relations in the field of health care, has been developed and is in effect.
