SK-Pharmacy LLP has concluded 50 long-term contracts for the supply of 1,612 items of medicines and medical products.
“On the instructions of the Head of State, systematic and systematic work is being carried out on state support of domestic producers, aimed at creating and developing pharmaceutical production, including by concluding long-term contracts for the supply of medicines for up to 10 years,” the Health Minister said at a press conference in the CCS. As the head of healthcare informed, today the Single Distributor (SK-Pharmacy LLP) has concluded 50 long-term contracts for the supply of 1,612 items (1,050 drugs and 562 medical devices), which is about 73% of the current list of medicines to provide a guaranteed amount of free medical assistance procured by a single distributor.
“As a result, an increase in the volume of purchases by the Single Distributor of domestic pharmaceutical products is projected in monetary terms from 49 billion tenge in 2018 (which is 26% of the total amount of public procurement) to 73 billion tenge (forecast 48.8%) in 2024”, - explained the minister.
Yelzhan Birtanov said that for 2018, a single distributor had already purchased 536 items of medicines and medical products of domestic production in the amount of 49.7 billion tenge to provide a guaranteed amount of free medical care.
