The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan provides for the implementation of capital and extended maintenance repairs of 8 power units, 56 power boilers and 45 turbines.
"For sustainable energy supply of the country's consumers in the upcoming autumn-winter period of 2018-2019, according to the approved Schedule of repairs of the main equipment of power plants of the Unified Energy System of Kazakhstan for 2018, it is planned to carry out overhaul and extended maintenance repairs of 8 power units, 56 power boilers and 45 turbines , - said the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Kanat Bozumbayev in the Central Communications Service.
According to the Minister, currently, 4 power units (50% of the annual volume), 32 boilers (57%), 24 turbines (53%) are being repaired at power plants.
“The pace of work on turbines and boilers is 10% higher than last year. Last year, 47% of boilers and 43% of turbines of the plan for the year were completed for this period. For turbines and boilers, the pace of work is 10% higher than last year. At different stages of repair, work is underway at 4 power units, 24 boilers and 21 turbines ”,

The Ministry of Energy together with the Ministry of Investment and Development, akimats and national companies of KEGOC JSC, NC KTZ JSC, Samruk-Energy JSC, KazTransGas JSC, hold industry-specific conference meetings on a monthly basis with all energy enterprises.
