The Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Kanat Bozumbayev told about the preparation for the heating season at a press conference in the CCS.

“The course of preparation for the upcoming autumn-winter period was considered on August 22 at a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and on August 27 at a meeting chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister Askar Mamin,” he noted.

As Kanat Bozumbayev informed, for the preparation of electrical networks of the unified electric power system of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the autumn-winter period of 2018-2019. repairs of power lines with a total length of 28,477 km are planned.

“Among them: 220 kV overhead line - 929 km; 110 kV overhead lines - 5,492 km; VL-35 kV - 6,767 km; VL-6-10 kV - 8,662 km; VL-0.4 kV - 7,136 km; CL-6-10 kV - 361 km; CL-0.4 kV - 140 km, as well as 5,848 substations, ”the speaker listed.

According to the speaker, on the current date 24 thousand km have been repaired. power lines, which is 85% of the plan of the year and 4.5 thousand substations, which is 77% of the plan, 439 (88% of the annual plan) of 500 boiler houses in the centralized heat supply area were repaired.

In general, according to the minister, repair work is carried out on schedule.

At the same time, in order to provide a reserve for the main equipment of power plants, it is necessary to ensure the completion of repair work at the following power plants.

To date, the unified power system of Kazakhstan is functioning stably.

On the current date, the production of electricity in the Republic is 74 billion kWh, with consumption - 70 billion kWh, which is 6% higher than last year.
