Over the past three years, 3110 children took part in the final stage of the military-patriotic gathering "Aibyn".
The deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the chairman of the Republican headquarters of the children's and youth military-patriotic public movement “Zhas Sarbaz” Mukhamedzhan Talasov told about this at a press conference in the CCS.
“The largest of all the events held is the“ Aibyn ”annual military-patriotic gathering, he said.
The speaker noted that more than 2000 clubs participate in district, city, and regional qualifying rounds with coverage of more than 55,000 children, which resulted in determining the best military-patriotic clubs.
“Over the past three years, 3,110 children took part in the final stage of the Aibyn military-patriotic gathering. In 2017, the collection was held in the International format. This year, for the first time, military-patriotic clubs established at military units and institutions, including other troops and formations, took part in the assembly. During the gathering, ideological work, various intellectual games, as well as competitions in military-applied sports were held with the children, ”he said.
According to Mukhamedzhan Talasov, in forming the image of a young patriot, a special place belongs to the annually held republican festival of the army song “Zhas Ulan”.
“Last year, more than 3,000 students took part in the qualifying stages of the festival from all regions of the country, and 356 young performers took part in the final of the festival in Astana,” he informed, recalling that it was already the second year during Summer holidays for the children of soldiers from distant garrisons a military-patriotic children's camp was organized. In total, more than 500 children from 14 distant garrisons rested, where they were held to foster patriotism.
