Cadet classes are opening in the schools of Kazakhstan; in total they will cover about 200 thousand children.
“The discovery of cadet classes has become one of the activities of the Zhas Sarbaz movement. With the support of the Ministry of Education and Science and public foundations, 101 cadet classes have been opened, in which about 3,000 children study, which have become an important social and pedagogical basis for the patriotic education of young people. We will continue the practice of creating specialized classes "Zhas Sarbaz" in every school in the country. The creation of such classes will improve discipline and academic performance, form an active citizenship among students, ”said Major General Mukhamedzhan Talasov, deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chairman of the headquarters of the Republican youth military-patriotic public movement“ Zhas Sarbaz ”.
According to him, in the event of opening at least one cadet class in every school, it is possible to bring the total number of military-patriotic organizations to 7,523, with coverage of about 200,000 children.
As the major general noted, the cadet class opened in the secondary school No. 13 of Astana city made it possible to rectify the unfavorable situation in the area of the Silikatny village. Now every parent seeks to send his children to the cadets.
