The National Military-Patriotic Center of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan has become the coordinating body of the military-patriotic education of servicemen and pre-conscription youth, reports ortcom.kz.

 

“Issues of formation of new Kazakhstani patriotism among military men and military-patriotic education of youth for the Ministry of Defense has been and will be one of the important priorities of the activity,” said the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Headquarters of the Republican Children and Youth Military-Patriotic Public Movement “ Zhas Sarbaz ”Major General Mukhamedzhan Talasov in the Central Communications Service.

As Mukhamedzhan Talasov notes, in order to improve the military-patriotic education of military personnel, as well as pre-conscription youth, the National Military-Patriotic Center of the Armed Forces opened in Astana in 2015 with the participation of the Head of State, who became the coordinating body of military-patriotic education of military personnel and pre-conscription youth.

“In order to coordinate the activities of the military-patriotic work, the Zhan Sarbaz Republican military-patriotic movement with branches in all regions was created at the National Military-Patriotic Center,” the chairman of the Republican youth military-patriotic public movement Zhas Sarbaz informed.

The structure of the Republican headquarters of the movement included representatives of state bodies, other troops and military formations, the youth wing of Zhas Otan of the Nur Otan party, and public and youth organizations.

Also, the Major General said that a draft Concept for the improvement of military-patriotic work in the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2020, “Eltzhanda Zhas Sarbaz”, was developed, as well as a hymn, a solemn oath of students entering the ranks of the movement, a logo of the movement, a uniform of the young patriot, and image products.

“Thanks to the activities of the movement this year, the number of military-patriotic clubs has increased to 2,828, and the coverage amounted to 73,164 children,” the speaker stressed.

Annual final and reporting forums, retreats and public hearings on military-patriotic education, training and methodological fees are held.

Memorandums of cooperation and cooperation were signed with the military patriotic movement Yunarmiya (Russian Federation), akims of Kyzylorda and Karaganda regions, the city of Shymkent.

“We plan to sign such memorandums with all regional akims and cities of Astana and Almaty,” concluded Mukhamedzhan Talasov.
