In the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina - the city of Sarajevo, the presentation of the book of the President of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev “The Era of Independence”, published in Bosnian language, took place. This is reported by ortcom.kz with reference to the MIA "Kazinform".

The event, organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, was attended by representatives of socio-political, business and academic circles, diplomats and journalists, as well as students and young people.

Kazakhstan's Ambassador Tolezhan Barlybayev stressed that the book “The Era of Independence” is a fundamental and comprehensive description of all stages of building independent Kazakhstan, reflecting the scope and depth of government reforms, overcoming the most complex challenges towards creating a unique and successful Kazakhstan development model. The diplomat expressed confidence that the chronicle of independence, written by its creator and architect Nursultan Nazarbayev, would be of interest to a wide range of readers.

Bosnian public figure, Professor Khilmiya Baygorich, who edited the translation of the publication, expressed deep admiration for the content of the book and the activities of the Leader of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He noted that "President N. Nazarbayev led the country in a difficult historical period of crisis and devastation, but managed to initiate and successfully implement large-scale government and economic reforms that radically changed the face of the country." The most important quality of the leader of Kazakhstan, the scientist called the responsibility for the fate of the country and its people. “Thanks to Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kazakhstan successfully overcame all the difficulties on the way to independence, maintaining peace and harmony in a multi-ethnic society,” the professor expressed his opinion.

   Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan Amel Dizdarevich, with whose assistance the book was published, also praised the historical contribution of the President of Kazakhstan to the construction of a new state.

“Nursultan Nazarbayev took upon himself the whole burden of responsibility and, like the founders of the Kazakh Khanate, Zhanibek and Kerey, confidently led Kazakhstanis to a better future. N. Nazarbayev, as the author of the modern history of the Kazakh people, is one of the most prominent world political leaders of the XX-XI centuries, and I am proud to be involved in the publication of the book “The Era of Independence”, said A. Dizdarevich. He also spoke about personal impressions of life in Kazakhstan and a deep perception of the scale of changes in the country.

The presentation of the book “The Era of Independence”, held in the castle of the Museum of the First President of Bosnia and Herzegovina, received a wide response among the public and the media. The Embassy of Kazakhstan will send gift editions of the book to the public and university libraries of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
