The total number of people who suffered from food poisoning in Kazakhstan was 568 people, including 57 children. The head of the public health committee, Gendarbek Bekshin, announced this during a press conference at the CCS.

“A detailed analysis of food poisoning has revealed that 9 facts (62.5%) are associated with catering facilities in public places (cafes, restaurants); education facilities (1 school and 1 university) - 2 facts (12.5%), catering facilities at industrial and construction enterprises - 3 (18.75%) and trade -1 (6.25%). The cause of food poisoning was the bacteriocarrier among employees of catering facilities, violation of the conditions for storage of finished products (without cold), violation of the principle of commodity neighborhood when storing finished and raw products, violation of cooking technology, ”said J. Bekshin.

Also, out of 9 catering facilities at the time of occurrence of food poisoning had a sanitary-epidemiological conclusion - 4, 1 object gave notice to 50 landing places - in fact, 80, 4 - did not have permits.

Thus, 53, 3% of the objects, the relationship of which with group food poisoning is defined, did not have permits for the beginning of the activity, or had permits for the number of seats not corresponding to reality.

Doner, fast-food restaurants operating in the republic, lounge bars, pizzerias, cafeterias and coffee shops are leaving the category of objects to be checked in a specific order.
