He drew attention to the main problem of regional TV channels. According to him, if the TV channel is located in Astana or Almaty, it automatically gets access to viewers from all over Kazakhstan. It happened historically.
In other cities, access to the audience is only like that of a regional TV channel: the channel cannot “jump” only to its urban audience and above it. And we initially made a bet on Kazakhstan. And so our goal was to get a republican audience. To this end, in 2011, via optical fiber and the technological scheme, we delivered a signal to Almaty in order to become at the level of the republican TV channel, at least through technical penetration.
According to Ruslan Nikanovich, it is necessary to ensure unhindered access of regional channels to the republican audience, so that everyone fights for his attention on an equal footing. Then the regional channel will see with whom it works, it will strive to become better, which will improve the situation as a whole, the entire information field of Kazakhstan. And then our bottoms will catch up to the republican level, while the republican TV channels will see the work of the regions.
At the same time, R.Nikanovich draws attention to the fact that regional TV channels are a forge of personnel for republican ones. “Well, where did the central channels get such literate presenters? Do they take them from the sky? No - they are grown on regional television, which cannot provide them with sufficient funding, and they are going to look for a better share on republican TV channels, where funding is higher, ”said Ruslan Nikanovich.
In his opinion, the knowledge gained on the regional TV channel is applied at the republican level. And here you need to understand that it is necessary to subsidize regional TV channels so that they continue to produce this school of television and radio. “And there are a million such examples. If you watch the republican TV channels - there are only visitors. But this is not grief, you need to understand that movement is the law of the genre and you need to use it, and help create these jobs in the regions so that they educate those who will create republican television broadcasting, ”added Ruslan Nikanovich.
