On the eve of weekends and winter holidays, the Committee of Public Health Protection of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan gave basic recommendations to Kazakhstani tourists going abroad.

“When visiting popular tourist destinations, you should remember that when traveling, you are in unusual conditions for you to eat, rest, climate, local customs and customs, which creates an increased risk of contracting infectious and parasitic diseases. Moreover, this remark is valid regardless of the country's social and living standards, ”said the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Public Health Committee of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Gendarbek Bekshin, in the Central Communications Service.

As the country's chief medical officer emphasized, special attention should be paid to the doctor's recommendations for patients with chronic diseases, pregnant women and people with young children.

In order to prevent infectious and parasitic diseases, as well as to ensure that the rest is not overshadowed, Kazakhstan tourists are recommended:

When planning a trip, clarify the situation on infectious diseases in the country to which you intend to go and study the measures that must be observed in order not to get sick yourself and your children.

During the trip, you must comply with the following measures:

  • use only bottled or boiled water for drinking. Do not use ice prepared from raw water;

  • visit only famous and reputable places of public catering;

  • fruits, vegetables, well washed with drinking water and rinsed with boiling water;
