As part of military-technical cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, another batch of new super-maneuverable fighter jets Su-30 SM arrived in the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan.
“Over the years of operation by the Air Force of Kazakhstan, Su-30SM aircraft showed their best side. They are constantly involved in various exercises, including international ones. Su-30 SM aircraft belong to the “4 ++” class and, in terms of their flight and tactical-technical characteristics, are very close to the last, fifth-generation aircraft. Su-30 SM aircraft are capable of performing a wide range of combat missions at a considerable distance from the enemy and in any situation, ”the press release of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan states.
It is worth noting that this type of aircraft can use anti-radar and anti-ship guided missiles, medium-range and short-range guided missiles “air-to-air”, high-precision aerial bombs. The fighter is designed to gain air supremacy, block airfields, destroy air, land and sea targets, including at night and in difficult meteorological conditions.
