In 2018, 53.9 million tons of oil was produced at three major oil fields in the country: Kashagan, Tengiz and Karachaganak, reports ortcom.kz
“Oil production in three major projects will amount to 53.9 million tons, including 13.2 million tons at the Kashagan field (120% of the plan for 2018), 28.6 million tons at Tengiz (103, 3% to the plan for 2018), on Karachaganak - 12.1 million tons (100.8% to the plan for 2018). In general, oil production in Kazakhstan at the end of 2018 will be 90.3 million tons, which is 104.7% by 2017. In 2017, this figure reached 86.2 million tons, ”said the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Kanat Bozumbayev.
He noted that this year, oil exports will reach 71.5 million tons, or 102.4% by 2017. At the same time, the volume of oil refining will be 16.1 million tons with an increase of 8% by 2017.
Gas production for the year will be 54.8 billion m3. 2017 growth will be 3.6%.
